# Zi Hon's Portfolio Hey, I'm Yew Zi Hon. I hold a Diploma in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering. I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Nanyang Technological University. ## About me My interests are 3D printing, mechatronics and electronics. I have completed multiple hands-on projects, gaining experience across mechanical, electronics, and programming domains. ## Projects ### Data collector - Final Year Project - NTU The data collector for marine application is a final year project with DSO national laboratories. It involved integrating mechanical systems with electronics and embedded programming. I designed the system architecture and implemented the firmware using C on an STM32 microcontroller. Many differnet domains are involved in this complex project, I have gained valuable experience in integrating the various complex systems of the data collector. ![img](/assets/datacollector/datacollector.jpg) ### Ball collector The ball collector project allowed me to integrate the mechanical, electrical, and programming skills that Ive learned throughout my course. This competition took place in Hanoi and Incheon. It uses servo motors to press down on the piano keys.
